SPRING, Texas -– Deputies in northern Harris County continued their search early Tuesday for one of two suspects who allegedly injured a man during a home invasion in Spring.

Deputy constables with Precinct 4 said the break-in happened around 10:30 p.m. Monday at a home on Old Carriage Lane at Bellchase Drive.

Robbers allegedly tied up a male homeowner and forced him to tell them where certain items were within the home. Another person in the home was able to get outside and call 911 at a neighbor’s, deputies said.

One of the suspects was caught near the scene, but the other one got away.

“There was a canvas of the area, and a perimeter was setup, but he has not been located at this time,” said Det. Sgt. Rico Catillo.

A detailed description of the suspect who got away was not available.

There was no early word on how the homeowner was injured, but deputies said he was expected to make a full recovery.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office and Pct. 4 are both investigating the crime.
