HOUSTON—Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of three people involved in a home invasion robbery captured on video.
The armed robbery happened at 3:10 p.m. Wednesday in the 1900 block of Thistle Creek Court in the Fresno area of Fort Bend County, deputies said.
The resident told deputies that the men parked near the home in a gray sedan and one of them went to the front door with a paper in hand, posing as a neighbor who had received the wrong mail. When the victim opened the door, the robber rushed the resident and the two other men joined him.
The thieves tied up the resident and stole a television set and a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am, deputies said.
“You cannot open the door anymore to anyone, I was having doubts opening the door right now when you knocked on the door,” neighbor Rosa Rodriguez told KHOU 11 News Reporter Vicente Arenas.
Information that leads to the capture and filing of charges on men involved could earn a reward of up to $5,000. Anyone with information is asked to call Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office at 281-341-4665, Fort Bend Crime Stoppers, Inc. at 281-342-TIPS (8477) or text plus the tip to CRIMES (274637).
