HOUSTON – Deputies are searching for three masked men who kicked their way through the back door of a family’s home Wednesday morning in west Harris County.

The Home Invasion happened in the 3600 block of Windmill Village Drive in the Windmill Villas Subdivision.

Investigators said the men pistol-whipped a man before stealing a purse, some cell phones, and an iPad.

The victim’s wife and four kids were all home when it happened.

No one else was hurt.
