Lenoir woman sentenced in home invasion

A Caldwell County woman was convicted this week in connection with a home invasion last year in Hickory, prosecutors say.
Chelsey Anita Shew, 26, of Lenoir was convicted on felony charges of robbery with a dangerous weapon and first-degree burglary. She was sentenced to between 51 and 74 months in prison, prosecutors say.
Shew and two men were arrested March 14, about 30 minutes after three people broke into a residence at gunpoint, Hickory police say. The suspects took a 50-inch television and a PlayStation.
Police caught Shew and the others a short time later on U.S. 70 and say they found the stolen items in their car.
One other suspect, Larry Eugene Robbins, was convicted in December. The third suspect, Joshua Sigmon, is awaiting trial, according to court records.
