Home Invasion Reported in Derby

Ansonia Police said the incident was reported off of Sentinel Hill Road in Derby and they have sent a couple of officers to assist Derby Police.

Police are investigating a report of a home invasion in Derby that prompted a brief lock down at Bradley Elementary School, according to school officials.

School officials said the school, located at 155 David Humphries Road, was locked down as a precaution and it was lifted when a police officer was stationed outside the school.

Derby Police have confirmed that an officer is stationed at Bradley Elementary, but have not released any additional information.
