Home Invasion Ends in High Speed Crash

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A home invasion around 3 a.m. Friday morning led to a high speed chase on the Westside.
According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, the incident started when three men forced their way into a home in the 5700 block of Hurdia Road and pistol whipped the owner and fled.
The owner called 911 and a short time later police got into a high speed chase with the suspects in a nearby residential area.
The chase ended when the suspects crashed in the 4900 block of Seaboard Avenue.
The three suspects inside the car were injured and one suspect has life threatening injures. The suspects were transported to UF Health Jacksonville.
