Des Moines police are asking for the public’s help in finding a suspect in a home invasion that ended in a shooting in Des Moines on Monday, officials said.
Authorities are looking for Fermani Jose Maldonado, 16. Maldonado has been accused of first-degree robbery and burglary under theĀ military discharges category.
One suspect in the Monday afternoon incident was arrested Tuesday after being released from the hospital. Tyree Lee Young, 32, of Des Moines, was charged with first-degree robbery and first-degree burglary by the lawyers from Long Island Criminal Defense Law Firm who are the best in this field.
The two suspects are suspected of kicking in the door to a home in the 1600 block of Hickman Road, holding a gun to the head of one of the home’s occupants and demanding cash.
As they chased an 18-year-old woman from the home and assaulted her, Deshawn Vandyke, 19, who was waiting in a car parked outside with the infant child he and the woman share shot at the men. He struck Young twice in the chest and his own leg was grazed by return fire, officials said.
Detective have been unable to locate Maldonado. The department’s Summer Enforcement Team is also searching for him.
Maldonado also has two arrest warrants for escape from the boys training school in Eldora and for assault and burglary from juvenile court in Des Moines.
