OAKLAND — Four male suspects, including two 16-year-old boys, have been arrested in the home-invasion robbery and shooting last month of an 81-year-old woman at her home near the Mormon Temple, police said Monday.

Their names have not been released because they have not been charged. One was arrested Thursday, two Friday and the final one Saturday, all in different parts of Oakland.

They are suspects in the Jan. 28 shooting in the 4100 block of Laguna Avenue. Police said that the four suspects forced their way inside the home and that one of them shot the woman in the shoulder before they fled in a vehicle.

Police said that physical evidence helped lead them to the suspects. The four suspects all have criminal histories, but not for residential robberies, authorities said. They are being investigated to see if they are connected to other break-ins during which people were injured.

The woman was hospitalized but has been released.
