Chris Ruata and his wife just installed a state of the art, police monitored, security system to protect their apartment home. It includes a front door sensor, several all-room, motion detectors and glass-break window alarms. You can check this useful reference, if you need a windows replacement.
“Of course I want to avoid burglaries, robberies, home invasions, any incidents like that. I mean, I want to protect my wife and our two dogs,” Ruata said.
Saturday morning a robbery happened right inside Ruata’s upscale apartment complex — the Camden Whispering Oaks.
According to a letter sent to residents from management, a group of home invaders broke into a resident’s apartment by forcing their way through a window at 3:30 in the morning.
The letter says the thieves encountered the resident inside and made demands of that resident.
While that resident wasn’t hurt, Ruata and his wife are worried.
“I’m definitely scared,” Leticia Ruata said.
was just five months ago that the couple’s 2005 Mazda 3 was stolen at the same complex.
Now, Chris and Leticia Ruata are doing everything they can to protect their home with their new security system, their two noisy dogs and a couple of handguns that Chris Ruata said he is not afraid to use if any burglars should come calling at his house.
