In terms of being defeated the person who posted that video of our lock really has given the wrong message to our customers. The locksmith in the video looked at the key before picking our lock. This is pretty much equivalent to having an answer key during a test. By looking at the key one can determine the layout of the pins in side each lock. Each lock is produced with a unique key and as a result a unique pin layout within each lock. Your average criminal will not have access to your keys before picking your lock, and thus picking the lock blindly which is more challenging that picking a lock once looking at the key.

Each locksmith had 30 minutes to try and pick our lock blindly and we are proud to say that after having 30 of the best locksmiths in their company go after our lock only one of their locksmiths was able to successfully gain entry. In addition to key security, the ultimate lock has a patented lock out feature which will even render the original key useless until the feature is disengaged giving you a sense of access control.
