Police ID Man Killed In Boston Home Invasion

BOSTON — Police have identified the man man fatally shot during attempted home invasion in Boston last week.
Investigators think 20-year-old Jordan Chinapoo was one of two men who tried to force their way into a Dorchester apartment last Wednesday. The resident opened fire, killing Chinapoo. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other man, 18-year-old Cedric Slayden, was arrested nearby allegedly fleeing the scene. Police say he had a gun. He was ordered held on $50,000 bail after pleading not guilty to firearms charges.
The resident’s name has not been made public and he has not been charged with a crime.
The shooting remains under investigation.
