The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a Campobello man wanted on several warrants in connection with an armed home invasion Friday evening.

According to information from the sheriff’s office, Ronald Lynn Harris, 42, of 3460 Mount Lebanon Road in Campobello, is wanted on charges of burglary, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and assault and battery of a high and aggravated nature.

According to the report, the victim told police four men broke through the front door of his home on Edwards Street in Lyman at about 5:45 p.m. The victim said one of the men shoved a handgun in his face and told him to turn over his money. When he refused, the victim told authorities the suspect then told him to get all of his things and get out.

The suspects are thought to have arrived at the scene in a white GMC Yukon with the tag number JET-808.

Lt. Tony Ivey said in a written statement the victim and suspect were connected, and there is no danger to the community of the men picking homes to invade and burglarize at random.
