Crowded places like the subway, a bus or the airport, or sporting event or concert, are a paradise for pickpockets and thieves. be prepared for people bumping into you, but don’t assume its because of the congested environment, You could be the unwitting target of a pickpocket and lose money, credit cards and other important IDs. Sometimes thieves will operate in pairs: one “accidentally” knock into you for distraction while the other lifts your wallet or your purse from your pocket or handbag. Often, people don’t realize when hey have been victimized until they attempt to make a purchase and they noticed that their money is missing. By this time, the perpetrator is long gone.
If you’re a man, carry your wallet around in your front pocket rather then in the back. While some rear pocket have buttons to close them up, wily thieves have been known to use knives to slash them open.
Women should hold on to their purses an handbags, or keep the wallets that hold important documents in a pouch tied around around their waste like a belt. I fact, I recommend that women that fewer personal items in their purse. when they go out shopping or on an outing to a public event resident
safety occurs. When my wife goes to the shopping out. my wife, she always store, she always takes a smaller purse that contains only credit card and her ID. That way, if-heaven forbid- she ever managed not to get mugged. she could easily cancel the credit card .
Be sure never to leave purses and packages unattended in public place.
